🛒 MOSS Merchant Introduced

The MOSS Merchant is now available in-game. You can bow access exclusive items, special exchanges, and new progression opportunities through this system. Make sure to visit the merchant (in Elbeland) and explore the new options available!

💎 Boss Crystal System Added

Boss Crystal system has been implemented. You can now obtain Boss Crystals from selected boss monsters. These crystals can be used for valuable rewards.

Server Back Online

Hello everyone,

The server is now online.

We sincerely apologize for the delay. We encountered an unusually high number of technical issues on the client side, affecting multiple operating systems, which required additional time to diagnose and fix.

The last remaining issue, "Text 5 missing", has now been fully resolved.

Compensation

• All accounts that logged in during the last 2 weeks received 2000 Diamonds
• Premium users have had their premium time extended by 3 days

We have successfully resolved the issues previously encountered, and the update procedure has now begun. This maintenance will take longer than usual, as we are also implementing several software improvements.

The update includes a database upgrade and an operating system update focused on improving security. Due to the complexity of these changes, the process may take more time than expected.

We estimate the maintenance to last approximately 2 hours, however, to ensure stability, a 24-hour maintenance window has been scheduled.

During this time, you will not be able to connect to the server or access the game. This measure is taken for your security and to prevent any bugs that may occur if connections were allowed during the update process.

The server will remain online, but game access will be disabled until the maintenance is fully completed.

Daily Rewards Recovery – Never Miss a Reward Again!

Dear MU-tizens,

We’ve updated the Daily Rewards system to make sure you never miss your daily bonuses. Here’s how it works:

Daily Rewards Recovery (MyAccount -> Daily Rewards)

In-game, you earn special rewards for logging in every day. Every day counts! If you miss a day, you can recover it using the Daily Rewards Recovery system. Simply pay 500 Diamonds and the reward for the missed day will be added to your account. (This does not include LevelUP Points and Gens Points.)

Weekly and Monthly Rewards

• Collect all daily rewards in a week to receive a Weekly Reward Chest. This chest can only be claimed if the week is fully completed.
• Collect all 4 Weekly Reward Chests in a month to unlock the Monthly Reward Chest with special prizes.

Check the calendar daily and claim your rewards. Click on the chest you want and recover anything you’ve missed!

Patch Notes – Latest Maintenance Update

The Character Name Change feature is now active and can be used directly from your MyAccount page. Look for the edit icon (🖉) next to each character’s name — click it to start the name change process.

Rules for changing character names:

• Minimum 4 characters, maximum 10 characters.
• Only letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9) are allowed.
• The character must not be in a guild at the moment of the name change.

The wait is almost over. After months of development, testing, and polishing, we officially announce that Modern Age – Part 1 will launch on 22 November 2025.

This update marks the beginning of a massive multi-stage expansion that will reshape TaroMU and bring the server into a new era of gameplay, progression, and visuals. The Modern Age is divided into five major parts, each introducing new systems, features, maps, characters, items, and events.

We had previously scheduled the release for September 13th, but due to the size and importance of this expansion, we required more time to ensure every feature is fine.

Until the release, here’s what you should focus on:

• Train your character to Level 800 to unlock the 4th Quest.
• Secure a strong Pentagram.
• Upgrade your Socket items while you can.

The gap between Part 1 and Part 2 will be short, so every step you take now will matter in the next expansion stage.

⚙️ Why this update took longer
This update required more time because we introduced essential new systems along with unique functionalities designed to unlock the Modern Era of gameplay.

The Modern Age will be divided into five parts, with each stage bringing massive new features, characters, maps, items, and events. Since Part 1 alone reshapes over half of the gameplay, we require more time to fully implement and test it to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

We had announced the release of the Modern Age on September 13th. However, due to the importance and complexity of this expansion, we are postponing the update.

⚠️ Why the delay?
Because Modern Age - Part 1 is the most content heavy update in TaroMU, introducing core gameplay systems, UI overhauls, and over a dozen new features at once. We want to avoid rushed implementation and ensure everything is tested, stable, and polished before release. 

A test server will be public released with high exp to test all functions / drops / rates.

✨ In the meantime, make sure to prepare yourselves:

• Train your characters to level 800. - to be able to make 4th Quest

• Secure your Pentagram.
