    New update has been successfully deployed ! This update introduces important new features along with essential fixes to improve overall gameplay stability.

    🛒 MOSS Merchant Introduced

    The MOSS Merchant is now available in-game. You can bow access exclusive items, special exchanges, and new progression opportunities through this system. Make sure to visit the merchant (in Elbeland) and explore the new options available!

    💎 Boss Crystal System Added

    Boss Crystal system has been implemented. You can now obtain Boss Crystals from selected boss monsters. These crystals can be used for valuable rewards.

    Salut! Înainte de update aveai bonus EXP activ de la eventul de Crăciun, plus eventul special pentru harta Deep Dungeon. După update, aceste eventuri s-au încheiat, motiv pentru care EXP-ul obținut per mob a scăzut. Nu este un bug.

    Server Back Online

    Hello everyone,

    The server is now online.

    We sincerely apologize for the delay. We encountered an unusually high number of technical issues on the client side, affecting multiple operating systems, which required additional time to diagnose and fix.

    The last remaining issue, "Text 5 missing", has now been fully resolved.

    Compensation

    • All accounts that logged in during the last 2 weeks received 2000 Diamonds
    • Premium users have had their premium time extended by 3 days

    Server Maintenance & System Update

    We have successfully resolved the issues previously encountered, and the update procedure has now begun. This maintenance will take longer than usual, as we are also implementing several software improvements.

    The update includes a database upgrade and an operating system update focused on improving security. Due to the complexity of these changes, the process may take more time than expected.

    We estimate the maintenance to last approximately 2 hours, however, to ensure stability, a 24-hour maintenance window has been scheduled.

    During this time, you will not be able to connect to the server or access the game. This measure is taken for your security and to prevent any bugs that may occur if connections were allowed during the update process.

    The server will remain online, but game access will be disabled until the maintenance is fully completed.

    Daily Rewards Recovery – Never Miss a Reward Again!

    Dear MU-tizens,

    We’ve updated the Daily Rewards system to make sure you never miss your daily bonuses. Here’s how it works:

    Daily Rewards Recovery (MyAccount -> Daily Rewards)

    In-game, you earn special rewards for logging in every day. Every day counts! If you miss a day, you can recover it using the Daily Rewards Recovery system. Simply pay 500 Diamonds and the reward for the missed day will be added to your account. (This does not include LevelUP Points and Gens Points.)

    Weekly and Monthly Rewards

    • Collect all daily rewards in a week to receive a Weekly Reward Chest. This chest can only be claimed if the week is fully completed.
    • Collect all 4 Weekly Reward Chests in a month to unlock the Monthly Reward Chest with special prizes.

    Check the calendar daily and claim your rewards. Click on the chest you want and recover anything you’ve missed!

    Patch Notes – Latest Maintenance Update

    The following changes and improvements have been applied during the most recent maintenance:

    • Level Cap Increased
      The maximum character level has been increased from 1000 to 1150.

    EVENT POINTS SYSTEM — Now Active!

    Earn Event Points automatically and spend them in the XShop for exclusive buffs & items.

    We’ve launched the Event Points System — a new way to earn currency while you play. Points accumulate automatically and can be redeemed in the XShop → Event Points category for powerful buffs and rare items.

    How to earn

    • Killing monsters — each kill gives Event Points.
    • Online time — receive points per hour while logged in (bonus for Premium Plus).

    What you can get

    Dear MU-tizens,

    The Character Name Change feature is now active and can be used directly from your MyAccount page. Look for the edit icon (🖉) next to each character’s name — click it to start the name change process.

    Rules for changing character names:

    • Minimum 4 characters, maximum 10 characters.
    • Only letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9) are allowed.
    • The character must not be in a guild at the moment of the name change.

    In this event, players must hunt and slay the world's most dangerous monsters:

    Kundun, Medusa, Erohim, Selupan, Nightmare — and other powerful foes such as Hero Mutant, Omega Wing, and Axl Hero.

     

    These creatures are not confined to their usual lairs — some may appear in zones like Vulcanus or Devil Square, though not all. Be ready at all times!

    Welcome to Epoca Moderna P1! This major update brings new systems, characters, events, and balance improvements to enhance your MU Online experience.

    Dear MU-tizens,

    The wait is almost over. After months of development, testing, and polishing, we officially announce that Modern Age – Part 1 will launch on 22 November 2025.

    This update marks the beginning of a massive multi-stage expansion that will reshape TaroMU and bring the server into a new era of gameplay, progression, and visuals. The Modern Age is divided into five major parts, each introducing new systems, features, maps, characters, items, and events.

    We had previously scheduled the release for September 13th, but due to the size and importance of this expansion, we required more time to ensure every feature is fine.

    🚀 Prepare for November 22nd

    Until the release, here’s what you should focus on:

    • Train your character to Level 800 to unlock the 4th Quest.
    • Secure a strong Pentagram.
    • Upgrade your Socket items while you can.

    The gap between Part 1 and Part 2 will be short, so every step you take now will matter in the next expansion stage.

    📰 Update Information

    Large part of the update has already been completed!
    Starting Tuesday / Wednesday, the test server will be open to the public.

    🔍 During this stage:

    • Testing will take place over a period of up to 48 hours.
    • Everyone is welcome to join, explore the new features, and share feedback.
    • Based on the results, the update will be rolled out to the official server.

    ⚙️ Why this update took longer
    This update required more time because we introduced essential new systems along with unique functionalities designed to unlock the Modern Era of gameplay.

    Dear MU-tizens,

    The Modern Age will be divided into five parts, with each stage bringing massive new features, characters, maps, items, and events. Since Part 1 alone reshapes over half of the gameplay, we require more time to fully implement and test it to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

    We had announced the release of the Modern Age on September 13th. However, due to the importance and complexity of this expansion, we are postponing the update.

    ⚠️ Why the delay?
    Because Modern Age - Part 1 is the most content heavy update in TaroMU, introducing core gameplay systems, UI overhauls, and over a dozen new features at once. We want to avoid rushed implementation and ensure everything is tested, stable, and polished before release. 

    A test server will be public released with high exp to test all functions / drops / rates.
     

    📢 A new release date will be announced soon. Thank you for your patience and continued support as we prepare the Modern Age!

    ✨ In the meantime, make sure to prepare yourselves:

    • Train your characters to level 800. - to be able to make 4th Quest

    • Secure your Pentagram.

    • Collect and upgrade your Socket items.

    • And don’t forget your wings — because 4th Wings are coming soon.

    ⏳ The gap between Part 1 and Part 2 will not be long, so every step of progress you make now will be valuable when the Modern Age unfolds further.

    • Added full Acheron map, including:

      • All areas & monster spots

    • Introduced new map: Ferea (Level 700).

    💎 Acheron Boss & Drop Updates

    • Acheron bosses now drop Pentagrams

      • The pentagram level depends on the boss level.

    • Bosses also drop ETCA, ETOL, and other required crafting materials.

    • Regular monster drop in Acheron now includes everything needed for Errtel creation.
